Ingredients (makes 8 - 10 bowls)
Curry Base
- Onion, garlic and ginger mix – 15g
- Tikka Bang spice – 20g
Kebab mix
- Minced meat – 800g
- Fresh coriander (finely chopped) - 75g
- Fresh Chillies (finely chopped) - optional
- Oil to brush Kebabs

- Lettuce - 2-3 bunches
- Cucumber - 2-3
- Onion - 2 large
- Cherry tomatoes - 450g
- Lemon - 5
- Yoghurt or Feta (optional)
- Cooked rice/ couscous/ quinoa/ toasted pitta
Recipe
Step 1
Build Kebab/Kofte Mix
Soak your onion, garlic and ginger in tepid water for 5 minutes. Tip your mince into a bowl, add the tikka spices, hydrated Onion Ginger Garlic, fresh coriander and chillies. Mix uniformly and work firmly onto skewers into long bold shapes or rounded balls.
Step 2
Grill!
Brush with oil and grill or oven bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and cooked through. Push for another 5 mins for that char!
Step 3
Dress Your Bowl
Lay down your base of rice, torn and toasted pieces of pitta, quinoa or couscous, then build up with crisp lettuce, cucumber, sliced onion and cherry tomatoes. Add crumbled feta or a dollop of yoghurt and a fresh lemon wedge. Lay the hot kebabs on top and finish with chopped coriander.
