A richly flavoured pizza built around bold tikka spice. Charred chicken, spiced tomato sauce and melted mozzarella come together to create a pizza with warmth, depth and strong menu appeal across busy services.
Ingredients (makes one large pizza)
Tomato Pizza Sauce:
- Onion, garlic and ginger mix – 15g
- Bang's Warm Moghul spice – 20g
- Tomato paste (diulted)– 250ml/g
Chicken Tikka Topping:
- Onion, garlic and ginger mix – 15g
- Bang's Tikka Masala spice – 20g
- Chicken pieces – 500g
- Splash of oil for marinade
- Ready to go, pizza dough
- Grated mozzarella.
Recipe
Step 1
Prepare the base
Add Tikka Masala spices and onion, garlic and ginger mix to the diluted tomato paste and mix evenly.
Step 2
Pizza topping
Marinate chicken pieces with Tikka Bang spices oil, and onion garlic and ginger mix.
Grill, until mostly cooked. Finish on a high heat for that chargrilled look.
Step 3
Build Pizzas
Using pizza dough, work into a flat base and spread the tomato sauce.
Arrange chicken pieces and sprinkle grated mozarella over the tomato sauce.
Cover with slived red onions or your choice of topping and grill!
Chef's Tip:
For extra depth, lightly char the chicken before adding to the sauce.
