Calling all street-food lovers! These delicious Bhajis can be deep fried, shallow fried, or even cooked in the air fryer for a healthier alternative.
Recipe
Step 1
Finely slice the onion, alongside any coriander should you wish to include.
Step 2
Add the Bhaji spices and gram flour to a bowl and mix together. Then, gradually add up to 150ml of water and mix to form a smooth batter.
Add in the diced onion and stir to combine.
Step 3
If frying, heat the oil in a pan until very hot and add spoonfuls of the Bhaji mixture. Fry until golden and crispy, turning halfway through for an even cook, approximately 3-4 minutes each side.
If using an air fryer, place spoonfuls into the air fryer basket and cook until golden brown and crispy!
