Ingredients
1 large onion
Optional: a handful of fresh coriander for garnishing
Directions
🔥 STEP 1 - SLICE ONIONS.
🔥 STEP 2 - MAKE SPICY BATTER (GLUTEN FREE)
- Finely slice the onion and chop the coriander or any herbs you have handy.

- Sieve the gluten-free besan (gram) flour.
- Mix in the Bang-bhaji spices and make a smooth batter with up to 100ml of cold water.
- Add the thinly sliced onion and chopped herbs.
- Mix in and stir well!
- 🍃 TOP TIP: Why not try using other ingredients in your bhajis? Sliced aubergine, peppers and spinach are exceptional in these snacks!
- 🔥 STEP 3- AIR FRY IT!
- Set the air fryer to 190°C, mist the tops of each bhaji with cooking spray - then cook for 4 min. Rotate and cook for a further 4 min until golden and crispy. Repeat with the remaining batter.
