If deep frying is not your thing, don't worry - these work really well with shallow frying and even fry-light!
Finely slice the onion and chop the coriander or any herbs you have handy.
Mix Bang's spices and flour pack with up to 150ml of cold water into a smooth batter. Add the onion and coriander. Mix in and stir well!
Heat some oil in a pan until very hot. Fry spoonfuls of batter in the oil until crisp and golden. Rotate the bhajis for even cooking, this takes 3 to 4 minutes.
A TIP ABOUT DEEP FRYING: To test the oil is hot enough, drop in a small amount of batter, this should rise to the top almost immediately. Use two tablespoons to scoop the batter gently into the oil.
