1 BANG BHAJIS Scratch Recipe Kit
1 large onion
Optional: a handful of fresh coriander for garnishing
NOW FOLLOW OUR SIMPLE 3 STEP PROCESS
STEP 1: SLICE IT
Finely slice the onion and chop the coriander.
STEP 2: SPICE IT
Mix Bang's spices and flour pack with up to 150ml of cold water into a smooth batter. Add the onion and coriander. Mix in and stir thoroughly.
STEP 3: FRY IT
Heat some oil in a pan until very hot. Fry spoonfuls of batter in the oil until crisp and golden. Rotate the bhajis for even cooking, this takes 3 to 4 minutes.
Top tips: to test the oil is hot enough, drop in a small amount of batter, this should rise to the top almost immediately. Use two tablespoons to scoop the batter gently into the oil.
Enjoy with chilli sauce or your favourite chutney.
